Abhishek Chatterjee

Head of Core Infrastructure

As Head of Core Infrastructure at Stripe, Abhisek is responsible for building and operating Stripe's mission critical infrastructure systems. He is responsible for the development, scalability, reliability, availability and performance across Stripe’s Compute, Storage, Disaster Recovery, Networking, Edge and Caching platforms. Prior to Stripe, he held distinguished engineering leadership roles at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Amazon Web Services and IBM building highly scalable distributed systems at planetary scale. Abhisek also has significant contributions in the field of High Performance Computing (CPU, GPU, SOC,Accelerators) and Operating Systems Development (Linux).

Neeraj Joshi

Core Infrastructure Tech Lead

Neeraj is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Core Infrastructure Tech Lead at Stripe. With over 20 years in the tech industry, Neeraj has held key positions at major companies including Netflix and IBM. At Netflix, Neeraj progressed to Architect/Lead, focusing on Edge API Platform and Real Time Data Infrastructure. During his tenure at IBM, he led significant projects in security, batch processing, and policy language development.

Neeraj is known for his expertise in databases, cloud computing, and Java development, as well as his contributions to stream processing systems and autonomic computing.

Shashi Madappa

Core Infrastructure Tech Lead

Shashi Madappa is a Staff Software Engineer at Stripe, with 25 years of tech industry experience. He held leadership roles at Apple and Netflix, spending 13 years at Netflix as Engineering Leader for the Cloud Platform. At Netflix, Shashi developed scalable global data storage systems and enhanced platform resiliency. He specializes in cloud computing, distributed systems, and high-performance data management.
